Storeperson - Appin

Redpath Mining is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Stores Person to join our team at our Shaft Sinking Project at Appin. This position is open to residential candidates living in Menangle, Campbelltown or Wollongong, offering an excellent opportunity to gain Mining experience.

About the role
The Stores Person supports site operations by ensuring materials, parts, and consumables are received, stored, and distributed accurately and efficiently. You'll work closely with maintenance, operations, and procurement teams to keep the project running smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods and materials
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
• Pick, pack, and issue parts and consumables to site personnel
• Operate forklifts and materials-handling equipment safely
• Keep warehouse and laydown areas organised and compliant
• Assist with stocktakes and cycle counts
• Liaise with suppliers, couriers, and internal teams as required

Experience and qualifications

• Experience in a mining or heavy-industry stores/warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
• Forklift licence (LF) essential
• Competent with inventory systems and basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and within a small team
• Must reside in Menangle, Campbelltown or Wollongong and be able to commute to site daily (no FIFO/DIDO)
